If you come by car, or you rent one in the airport, you are in a strategical position to visit the neighbourhoods of Roma, that are as interesting as the town is. Rome has a small subway network and a hard traffic: to live downtown does not mean a easier transportation. It dipends from where one is located.
The northern part of Roma - via Cassia is linked to downtown with the subway (Rome center is forbidden to prived cars), 30 minutes far from the seaside, strategically situated to visit all the archeological etruscan sites and famous Viterbo's thermal baths www.termedeipapi.it , and near a 18 + 9 holes Golf Club www.olgiatagolfclub.com . Situated in the heart of this island of peace and security, near and far at one time from the joyful confusion of Rome, the appartment is available for rent.
The area is relatively hilly, 30 minutes drive from the centre of Rome and and 10 minutes from the subway line going downtown (Vatican Museums), ideal for day trips to the city (roman centre is closed to prived car traffic) and for exciting excursions in one of the many natural parks, e. g.: Bracciano, Martignano, Vico, etc. Two minutes drive there is a famous golf club with a very confortable golf house. The beach of Fregene is 1/2 hour drive and Tuscany is 2 hours drive away. |
