The villa is in an excellent position, situated on the edge of a Seve Ballesteros designed Golf Course, it has the advantage for golfers of being close to the course, but at the same time is ideal for families who want a quiet relaxing holiday. Surrounded by landscaped gardens with a shared swimming pool. There are several restaurants including a 4 star hotel within walking distance and many others locally. Ideal for golfers, families, walkers, horse riders and people who simply want a secluded break, but close enough to beaches, nightlife and other amenIties.
Alhaurin Golf is a truly beautiful course overlooking the Mijas mountains and the Mediterranean sea, the par 72 course designed by Seve Ballesteros also has superb practising facilities, with a spacious natural grass driving range, putting green, chipping green and a pretty 9 hole academy course.
The course is made up of 5 par fives, 5 par threes and 8 par fours, providing a balance for low and high handicappers alike. Water comes into play on three holes and greens are lightly guarded by bunkers in most cases. The signature hole is number six, a par five dog- leg right with the most amazing tee positions and views overlooking the Mediteranean sea. The drop in height from the trees is absolutely unique and leaves most players with more 2 more shots to reach the green, well protected by bunkers, but not difficult to putt. This is one of those holes that every golfer must play at least once in their life.The trees and plants within the course are typically Mediterranean with plenty of pine trees, Spanish Oaks, cypress, orange trees, palms and olives, plus a wide range of aromatic plants like thyme and rosemary.
