This lovely air conditioned villa in Calis is split across three floors. Mosquito screens have been fitted throughout offering natural airflow on balmy summer evenings. The villa has three double bedrooms that can accommodate up to six people and each bedroom has either an en suite or its own adjacent bathroom.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open-plan lounge/dining area, with a tiled kitchen and separate wc. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary for indoor and outdoor eating. Patio doors lead from the lounge onto a large terrace which overlooks the gardens and swimming pools.
Calis (pronounced chalish) is a charming, family-oriented resort and has a paved promenade lined with lots of friendly bars and restaurants. The seemingly endless stretch of beach, the aquapark and the local market are all only a 10-minute stroll away from the villa. With such a wide variety of leisure pursuits available locally, car hire is not necessary.

This modern triplex villa has been furnished with leisure and relaxation in mind. On the ground floor there is a large lounge with comfortable sofas, easy chairs, coffee table and a television/ DVD/Satellite combination. There is also a dining area with table and seating for six people, wall unit and safety deposit box and adjacent ground floor WC with wash hand basin. Patio doors from the lounge lead on to a spacious terrace overlooking the communal swimming pools and garden area. Patio table, chairs and sun loungers are provided - just relax and enjoy.
The kitchen is well stocked with all necessary crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils, kettle and toaster, and there is a large American-style fridge/freezer, oven/hob and microwave.
On the first floor, the master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedroom furniture and en-suite facilities with vanity unit. Patio doors lead out on a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and gardens festooned with bougainvillea, jasmine and hibiscus Also on the first floor is a second double room with twin beds, wardrobes, dressing table and patio doors with lovely views towards the mountains. Immediately adjacent is a bathroom with bath and shower facilities, wash hand basin and toilet.
On the second floor is a very spacious family bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, drawers and dressing table. A door leads out on to a tiled roof terrace with lovely views towards the Babadag mountain. Adjacent to this bedroom is a bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and shower facilities, hair dryer, washing machine/ironing board and iron. From the landing there is also access on to a large terrace with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and is also a laundry drying area with an ironing point. The villa is fitted with mosquito screens, to allow cool breezes throughout the house on those balmy summer evenings. The complex has garden/pool maintenance staff on duty by day and security staff on duty by night. |

The main pool has a huge 150 sq m area, is 1.5m deep throughout and is cleaned daily. There is also a 22 sq m children’s pool, poolside shower and a tiled sunbathing area adjacent to the main pool. |

The beachfront is only a 10 minute stroll from the villa and has a lovely paved promenade with plenty of friendly bars and restaurants with a good selection of international cuisine and a lively nightlife. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a cold beer or cocktail, and relax as the sun slowly sets across the glittering bay on a balmy summer evening. Calis beach is famous for breathtaking sunsets.
The warm sea offers safe swimming and a range of water-sports. Calis even has its own water park, less than a 10-minute stroll from the villa, where during the summer months you can enjoy the slides, pools and animations. Calis market offers fresh produce and lots of shoes, clothes, jewellery and souvenirs (10 min walk).
The Fethiye region has an incredible range of sights and activities. This coast boasts some of the most exhilarating walks - walkers check out the Anatolian Way and Lycian Way. There is Butterfly Valley with its butterflies, dragonflies and birds and the magnificent Saklikent Gorge. There are so many historic sites locally it would be impossible to name them all, but Patara, Tlos, Xanthos, and the Kayakoy ghost village are all very popular sites, or why not go a little farther afield to Ephasus or Pamukkale. All excursions can be booked locally.
For those who enjoy the sea there are boat trips galore – fishing, bay and island tours, gulet cruises along the Turquoise coast, or take the water taxi to Fethiye or Gocek, a swish marina resort across the bay. Why not try scuba diving, snorkeling or deep sea fishing? For the adventurous there is horse riding, jeep safaris, white water rafting, quad bikes, hang gliding or paragliding from the local mountains. Or venure across the bay to Fethiye with its lovely harbour, shops, market and bazaar. (30 mins by boat or 10 mins by dolmus (local minibus service - one every 10 mins). Or travel on to the fabulous beach at Olu Deniz (20 mins by dolmus from Fethiye) or Hisaronu for shopping or a lively night out. |
